Urgently required – Orthopaedic/Surgical Nurses

Due to a new contract award in South Kent, Superior Care urgently requires trained nurses with some orthopaedic or surgical experience to join our team and to share in the huge volumes of work that we are able to offer.
This particular position offers guaranteed hours, either full or part time, but commitment to a rota is essential. It would suit trained nurses living in South Kent or those prepared to travel. Enhanced pay rates and holiday package is offered.
There is a sufficient volume of work to offer a full time position or candidates may wish to retain work with an existing employer, using Superior Care for “top up” hours.

Expanding homecare division – community carers required!

We are continuing to expand our homecare services in our Whitstable branch and are urgently seeking candidates to work with clients in Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whitstable and the surrounding areas.
Positions are currently available for experienced, passionate and compassionate candidates. In return, we will offer a variety of placements, flexible working hours to suit your requirements and attractive rates of pay.

Whitstable branch on the move – but not far!

Superior Care’s East Kent operations have continued to expand and, to accommodate our enlarged team, the Whitstable branch will move to the ground floor of its existing premises in June 2009.
The new offices will provide further training facilities which reflects our aim to provide further career opportunities for our team, as well as further space for the expansion of our domiciliary division.
Our Head Office team has recently moved to new premises in Cromwell Road, Whitstable.

Welcome to the team, Julie!

With the continued expansion of our domiciliary division, we are delighted to welcome Julie Alexander to our team. Upon her return from honeymoon, Julie will head up the continued expansion of our community care services including recruiting further members to our team, and for promoting our services throughout East Kent – in particular, in Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable.
Superior Care is regulated for the supply of domiciliary carers and works with private, direct payment and local authority clients. We were graded Excellent by CSCI in April 2008.
Superior Care launches specialist continuing care division

Superior Care has launched a specialist division of our care group, Superior Continuing Care, to provide ongoing care and support package to clients with complex care requirements.
The South East region is managed by Continuing Care Executive, Adele Blythe, from our Maidstone offices. We are working with clients in a variety of sectors and closely with private clients, case managers, solicitors and insurers.

Superior Care acquires Haydon-Mayer
April 2008
On 07 April, Superior Care acquired the Haydon-Mayer Nursing Agency – the highly respected Canterbury-based homecare agency.
We were delighted to have been asked by Tremaine Haydon-Mayer to take over her agency upon her retirement, and to now be able to offer our homecare services to an enlarged range of service users – including KCC funded clients.

Superior Care is graded Excellent by CSCI
April 2008
Further to CSCI’s recent inspection of our service, we are proud to have been graded Excellent in both our nursing and domiciliary registrations.
The Commission for Social Care Inspection is a government appointed agency which regulates social care services. Their grading of service is crucial to proving that, at Superior Care, excellence in care really does come as standard!
